PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma. It is a cosmetic procedure that involves extracting PRP from the customer's own blood and then injecting it back into the skin to rejuvenate and address various skin concerns.

MECHANISM
PRP stands for Platelet-rich Plasma a substance that can promote healing when injected to the skin. Plasma is a valuable component of your blood that contains special factors or proteins that support cell growth, such as PDGF, TGF b, VEGF, EGF FGF, IGF…. PRP is extracted for use by isolating plasma from blood and concentrating it.
The growth factors from PRP will stimulate your body to grow new, healthy cells and promote healing. They also encourage the production of collagen, elastin, HA...; helping the skin become healthier, smoother, younger and plumper.

PRF treatment consists of drawing blood from customer, extracting PRP from the blood and then injecting the PRP back into the skin.
After PRF injection, the doctor will do a complimentary treatment to effectively target the skin issue that needs adressing (Laser Fotona or Laser Fractional). For example, if customer wants to treat melasma, the doctor will do Laser treatment after PRF injection. If customer wants to treat acne scars, it would be Laser Fractional after PRF injection.
PRF will stimulate healing and support cell growth, maximizing the effectiveness of the complimentary treatment. Therefore, PRP treatment as a whole is very multi-purpose, able to target many different skin issues:

Cleanse the face, prep the skin for treatment

Skincare after treatment
- The injected points on the skin may appear slightly red, bruised, or swollen. The skin will return to normal within a few days to a week.
- Avoid touching the injected areas for 2 - 3 hours after treatment to prevent bacterial infection.
- Drink at least 2 liters of water daily to maximize the treatment results.
- Refrain from massaging the skin for one week after treatment.
- Use a gentle face wash and moisturizer suitable for sensitive skin. Recommended: Dermacept or AOHAL SKINCARE products, available at our clinic.
- Minimize sun exposure and apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
